Do I need a reservation to dine at Sabor a Café?

While walk-ins are welcome, we strongly recommend making a reservation, especially on weekends and live music nights. You can reserve online or call (773) 300-6069.

What days do you have live music?

Live music is featured every Thursday and throughout the weekend (Friday & Saturday). We also host Klezmer Night residencies on select Wednesdays. Check our Events page for the full schedule.

What type of cuisine do you serve?

We serve authentic South American cuisine including premium steaks, ceviche, empanadas, seafood, salads, soups, and a full lunch menu with fresh, vibrant flavors from across the continent.

Do you offer delivery or takeout?

Yes! We're available on Uber Eats, Grubhub, and DoorDash. You can also order takeout directly by calling (773) 300-6069.

Is there a gratuity added for large parties?

Yes — a 20% gratuity will be added to parties of 5 or more.

Can I book the venue for a private event?

Absolutely! Our second-floor private event space accommodates 30-50 guests. Visit our Private Events page or call us to inquire about availability and packages.

Where are you located?

We're located at 6873 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714. On-site parking is available for guests at no charge.

Do you offer gift cards?

On this night, we visited Sabor a Café for dinner and an intimate solo with a Chilean artist. I don't know why we hadn't noticed this gem before! The place looks like a recently discovered music temple! But, let's slow down a bit and take it from the top. We arrived and there was plenty of parking in the back. The rear entrance is really nice, like little resort with TV and all, reminding me of my own deck. The hostess seated us and the owner promptly came out I welcome us. The server came out and quickly took our order as we wanted to dine and enjoy the musical journey we were about to take. Food was made quickly and was delicious! The empanadas were good with a nice crisp outside. Tostones had a perfect crunch. The steak was perfectly cooked and the potatoes were surprisingly delicious! Drinks were great and well balanced, with a nice punch! The artist was old school, a musicians and a storyteller. He lived a great life and was pairing songs with experiences in his travels. We had a great evening and ended it with the owner giving us tour of the restaurant and all the eclectic art pieces on display. All in all, a great evening was had.

We found out Sabor a Cafe has live music and amazing food. The dishes are flavorful, the servers are kind and friendly, the music was definitely on point and the bathroom is very clean. We will be returning soon and more often.

We had a wonderful dinner at Sabor a Café and were excited to see Elio, whom I know from his Peterson Avenue location, open this beautiful new space. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, with eclectic artwork throughout that is always interesting to explore. Sabor a Café also hosts live entertainment throughout the week, including jazz on Thursdays, live sessions, and DJs. Even tonight, the music was so good that I had to force myself to stay seated because my feet wanted to dance! Our meal included: • Calamar – grilled calamari with garlic and lemon • Ceviche de Pescado – branzino, leche de tigre, onions, cilantro, and sweet potato chips • Mediterranean Salad – mixed greens, tomato, onions, cucumber, olives, feta cheese, and Mediterranean vinaigrette • Soup of the Day: Sancocho Beef • Bife de Costilla – grass-fed rib-eye • Bife Angosto – grass-fed New York strip steak The standout dishes for me were the ceviche and the Sancocho Beef Soup. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The only suggestion I’d make is to expand the dessert selection with a few more memorable offerings. Otherwise, this was an outstanding dining experience. Congratulations, Elio, on creating such a welcoming space. We’ll definitely be back!

We tried Sabor for the first time and it was a great experience. We had the Carne Asada and Salmon. Everything was delicious and perfectly seasoned. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be returning in the future.
